Andrea Hostetler, certified barre instructor.  Andrea's love of fitness first started as a stress-reliever when she was attending the University of Wisconsin- Madison earning her Bachelors Degree in Sociology.  She would go to the gym to do cardio and lift weights in between taking classes and working full time.  Years later and after having her first daughter, Andrea discovered Barre classes and instantly fell in love.  She loved the low impact, high intensity workout that combined pilates, yoga and strength training all in less than an hour.  Andrea has a passion for helping people and sees these fitness classes as an extension of that.  She loves spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, enjoys hiking and exploring Northern Michigan and can almost always be found cooking up something delicious in her kitchen.

Amanda Boboltz’s yoga journey began in 2003 amongst a class of fifth graders on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota.  It moved her deeply and planted a seed in her mind that came into fruition in 2007, when she began teaching and passing on the lineage.  Amanda completed her 200-hour teacher training at UpDog Yoga in Rochester, MI, but has been blessed to study with many influential teachers throughout Europe and the U.S.A.  Her lighthearted and positive approach is refreshing, and it is not uncommon for laughter to erupt in her yoga classes.  She challenges students to tap into their own innate body wisdom, and really come to know their inner teacher.  One of Amanda’s greatest passions is travel, and she particularly prides herself in the years she spent teaching, translating, and pioneering a yoga movement in a small Austrian city where she lived for several years.  She also enjoys spending time with her two nephews, lazy boat rides with her boyfriend, and all things music.  She has immense gratitude for this journey that is life.

Ingelil Eggleston is a certified Zumba instructor. She grew up with a love of dance and exercise, and was excited to discover Zumba several years ago. She loves how dance-based fitness classes like Zumba are so much fun that you forget you are working hard! She also enjoys the creativity you feel with dance-based movement. Ingelil has a bachelors degree in Health Promotion, which focused on fitness and nutrition. She enjoys painting, reading, gardening, cooking healthy recipes for her family, and she loves hanging out with her 5 children and husband.

Lisa Kruse went to her first Zumba class back in August 2013 and has loved Zumba ever since! She loved Zumba so much that she became a licensed Zumba instructor in December 2015. She has been a part of the Zumba Instructor Network since December 2015. Why did she fall in love with Zumba so fast? She loves Zumba because its fun, relieves stress and you’re working out but it feels more like a party! Another reason why she loves Zumba so much is the community and friends that are brought together. She also loves going to concerts, outdoor adventures, reading and of course dancing. So come try Zumba! Let loose, smile and dance!

When Rebecca Siegel, a native of Alpena, discovered her love for yoga, 20+ years ago, she knew the practice was something transformative for both the mind and body.  In 2004, she became a certified massage therapist which expanded her understanding of the human body, especially when the mind, body and spirit are in harmony. Rebecca continued her journey as a health and wellness advocate and began teaching yoga in 2005. Since then, she has been certified with Yoga Fit 1 & 2, graduated from the Light Guardians School of Yoga’s 200-hour training program and has taught many classes over the years, including the University of Michigan’s various yoga programs. Many years of breathing, sweating, surrendering and releasing on and off the mat, has brought Rebecca to where she is today. Outside of the studio, you’ll likely find her with her husband and two daughters, out with their horses and dogs, gardening, in the woods soaking up all that nature has to offer, or in the kitchen feeding anyone who enters.

In 2007, Greg Konwinski took his first yoga class. He was an avid weightlifter and sports enthusiast with lots of strength and zero flexibility. After 6 months of regular practice and struggles, he quit. Soon after, he sustained a weightlifting injury and realized how much better he felt with yoga in his life. After recovering from his injury, he resumed his regular yoga practice and hasn't quit since. An avid traveler, Greg has had several stints in Boulder, Colorado doing Bikram Yoga, and has spent time practicing at a few ashrams throughout the country. He has taken many of the yogic teachings to heart, fashioning much of his life towards non-materialism and simplicity. In 2013, he started Alpena's first food cart, the Hungry Hippie. The following year, he started to run Lee's Miniature Golf. Some of his passions are making fresh juice, growing wheatgrass, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors. In 2016, after a winter spent doing yoga on daily basis in Naples, FL he was convinced that it was time to take the next step and become an instructor. The following spring, he completed his 200 hour training with Light Guardians Yoga and is now a certified yoga instructor. He is very excited to be Alpena's first male instructor and hopes to be able to bring new people to the practice that has helped him so much.

Poppy Cornelius has been hooping consecutively for 3 and a half years now. It has been a passion of hers since the day a close friend showed her there was more to just waist hooping! Music festivals have helped further her interest in hula hoops and the art of flow. In the past she has taken jazz/hiphop dance and a couple contemporary classes. She also loves to paint, make jewelry, clothing, and adventure the outdoors! As well as spending time with her two dogs and cat! She has a very outgoing personality and loves to try new things! That includes, teaching!
